It offers a perfect western atmosphere with spacious rooms and baths. Besides, you can view breathtaking sceneries of the Mountain. The other hotels also offer good lodging facilities at affordable rates.  I've seen rates for the off season as low as $77 a night.

As far as Colorado mountain properties, there are condominiums for rent, sometimes nightly, but most of the time these rent by the week.  There are houses for rent and houses for sale in Colorado.  Usually pretty expensive, but if you have a couple families sharing the home, it might actually be the cheapest way to go for Aspen lodging.
